Meet The Staff
Cynthia Sabovick - Director and Owner Dance Exposure II. She has studied with many New York and New Jersey professional teachers and schools including - NYC Broadway Dance Center. She specializes in all disciplines of dance. Although Cynthia is an amazing dancer herself and could have chosen to pursue a performance career, she has been dedicated to sharing her passion for dance with children. Her artistic abilities are limitless and that is clearly evident when you watch any of her students perform. As an award winning choreographer, Miss Cyndi's students have received regional, national and international performance exposure (including Florida's Citrus Bowl Half-Time Performance, NJN Television Station Performance and World Showdance - National Dance Team USA) Cynthia's students continue to receive many title and high score awards at various competitions. She has been recognized with awards, multiple times, for her outstanding choreography.
Kelly Durfee - Kelly began working with Dance Exposure II in 2005. Although Kelly works as a volunteer, she has been responsible for major tasks such as the relocation and expansion of Dance Exposure II in 2006. Kelly earned her BS in Business with a major in Accounting and minor in Finance in 1990. She received an MBA with a concentration in International Finance in 1994. After working seven years in her chosen career field, Kelly decided to leave the work force to raise her first daughter, and later her twins. Kelly's involvement with Dance Exposure II has meant everything from business management to costuming and "rhinestoning". She is dedicated to making sure that every student enjoys themselves while dancing with Dance Exposure II.
Donna Friel - Donna has 14 years dance experience in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and hip-hop. She has taught all age groups ranging from pre-school to adults. In addition to Donna's dance experience, she is a certified group fitness instructor. She currently teaches cardio dance, Latin dance, and Yoga. She is a graduate of Villanova University.
Jessica Holt - Dance Exposure II is excited to introduce Jessica, a finalist on Season I of So You Think You Can Dance. Jessica teaches various disciplines and genres of dance taking the time to explore each style and ensure that each student grasps the concept of the technique. She taught and choreographed at various dance schools in the U.S. and Canada. She is a member of the Canadian Dance Teachers' Association and a member of DV8 Hip-Hop Dance Crew. Jessica has performed for Holland America Cruise Line, the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club, Sears Inc., L'Oreal Inc. and Mary Kay Inc.
Rosemary Sabovick-Bleich - Rosemary joined our staff in 1997. she trained with Gertrude Weinburg. Alfredo Corvino and Douglas Wassell. At the age of twelve, she was chosen to perform with the Bolshoi Ballet at the Metropolitan Opera House. In 1980, she joined the NJ Ballet Company. In 1981, Rosemary toured the USA, Puerto Rico and Canada with the Pavlova Celebration. Upon her return to the NJ Ballet, whe worked her way up the ranks to Principal Ballerina. She held that position until 2002 when she retired to raise her two daughters. Now Rosemary maintains many teaching positions in the tri-state area.
Danielle Ramon - Danielle was a former student of Dance Exposure II. She has returned as a staff member after receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. While studying to complete her degree Danielle performed as a company member with RVA Dance Collective. Currently she is a member with Motion Dance theater and guest teacher at Somerset County Vo-Tech.
Patti Sasso-Panzer - Dance Instructor/Choreographer. Patti has studied and trained with many professional teachers in NJ. She started student teaching in high school and continued to teach her own classes in college. She received her Associate's degree in Business Administration at Middlesex County College and actively served as a memeber of the Dance Club. Patti continued her education at Rutgers with a major in Marketing, graduated the School of Business in 1995, and enhanced her dance technique by taking classes at Mason Gross. With her dance and business background, Patti has continued to teach, choreograph and assist in the management of dance schools in the central NJ area. She is dedicated to teaching children and teens the art of dance while focusing on confidence building and stage presence.
